This is a special day for the widows, set aside as opportunity to advocate for daily struggles in the life of a widow. The day highlights all the social stigmatization and economic struggle that numerous women face after becoming a widow So many unpleasant things happen to most women that lost their husbands especially when they are not too old. Challenges on how to survive and how to raise the children. The custom and styles may not, is some circumstances, permit the woman to fully take control and be in charge of the property her husband left. This pose a great challenge for the woman hence her inability to get some things done.

For these reasons, the United Nations Organization has made it a point of duty to make the world listen to the voices of this category of people who are part of us yet not living according to how their happiness and joy (lives) would be enhanced. Financial struggle isn’t the only problem left to tackle, widows around the world also tend to face discrimination or are left deprived of their inheritance rights after losing their husbands. It becomes a difficult journey to be self-sufficient and the situation turns worse if they have to support the lives of their children.

This year event is specifically on how these women can improve their lives using available technology to take advantages of the opportunities readily available to become independent personalities. It is therefore expected of them to activate or unlock their hidden potentials through the use various technological tools to make sure they get their fair share of what the moment present and stop being second citizens on their land.

It is quite interesting to state categorically that life can be enhanced as much as individuals are ready to yield to the dictates of the new world order to get things done without further struggle.

To all widows out their, it is our advice and plea that the world is now at your doorsteps and fingertips as the advantages are far overwhelming which are adequate to deliver your expectations depending on how you tap.
