This year was a game changer for the GTCO Food and Drinks Festival 2023, with 208 food entrepreneurs providing varieties of whole meals, finger foods, grills, confectionery, traditional Naija foods and drinks to millions who experienced the 3-days event that was held at Victoria Island Lagos, from April 29 to May 1, 2023.

The first day we interviewed African American Chef Natasha Butler who prepared her signature American Traditional Food called Okra Gumbo.

Chef Natasha revealed to us that she loves Nigeria’s famous Jollof Rice and she also shared her inspiration behind creating Okra Gumbo.

The annual event has been hosted by Guaranty Trust Holding Company for 6 years now and it has fulfilled the dreams of many entrepreneurs in the food industry.

It started as a Corporate Social Responsibility of GTCO giving back to many customers and now it has evolved into a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, penetrate new markets and acquire more customer base.
