Walking with confidence talks so much about boldness and the ability to be in control of self while being sure of personal actions.

This is the being and personality of her Excellency and indefatigable doyen in humanitarian services, gifted to this generation for liberation.

I am referring to no other person with integrity than Ambassador Adunke Omowonuola Olatunji, the lady who steers the affairs of a rapidly growing foundation dedicated especially to easing the plight of widows and widowers.

Many acts have been accomplished and credited to her remarkable efforts in this regard. She is passionate and willing to share all when it comes to giving to the indigents.

One such act, precisely last week, Saturday 11th, December 2022, at the Heritage multipurpose hall Oke-Aro, Iju, Ishaga axis of Lagos, her Foundation hosted more than 1,300 widows and widowers. Food items worth several millions of naira were packed in different quantities and presented to several beneficiaries. They came from far and near to be part of this seasonal gift implemented on an annual basis.

A similar program tagged: “Street Feeding”, is another project to reach out to the needy who may not have food to put on the table on Christmas day. This program has been going on for two years to change the narratives of the less endowed.

In like manner, Tabitha New Life Foundation has its presence in 29 states in Nigeria, taking care of widows and widowers. So many of them have been given entrepreneurial opportunities by taking them through skills acquisition. A program tagged, Tabitha Empowerment and Acquisition Program (TEAP) is dedicated to this assignment every month to lift jobless widows and widowers to a position where they are profitably engaged. Another plus to this program is incentives in the form of start-up capital given to the trainees for continuity & sustainability.

This concept alleviates the suffering of these categories of people that come in contact with the foundation and, they are smiling with the assurance that God has a helper and comforter who wipes their tears.

No matter how tough the economic situation is, people with large hearts still exist and they are giving cheerfully to the course of humanity. Destiny partners and supporters from every nook and cranny are sending money, materials, and advice to contribute to the progress and development of TNLF.

We are calling on international organizations, national agencies, and philanthropic-minded individuals to rise to our help and bail out more victims in this clime. Many people are suffering in and around us, let us make concerted efforts to make the world a better place by rising to this challenge – give ceaselessly to the needy.
